Full Body Training Log: Wk 1-Day 1
I’ve been asked quite a bit about how I train. As a result, I’ve decided to add a training log to this site. It will be updated everyday and I hope it gives you some insight to the method behind my madness as well as new ideas and maybe even a little inspiration.
My training lately has gotten a little stale so, I’ve decided to make some changes. For this new phase of training I’ve decided to go old school and go with full body sessions, lifting three days per week. I will break down this phase into two 4 week mini-cycles, each consisting of 3 heavy weeks followed by 1 deload week. On the non-lifting days (Su, Tu, Th) if incoporate some GPP or conditioning help a little with recover and stay lean while hopefully packing on a little muscle.
Full body training is notoriously tough on the body so I’m hoping these mini-cycles will help keep me fresh.
Full Body: Wk1-Day1
1 – Deadlift – 5×5
2a – Zercher Squat – 3×8
2b – DB Snatch – 3x6ea.
3a – Ring Pushups – 3xsubmax
3b – Pullups – 3xsubmax
3c – Dbl KB Swings 3×15
I could have gone a little heavier on the zerchers and snatches but overall this one felt great.
