Full Body Training Log: Wk 5 – Day 1
Ahh, back to the grind!
Sorry I didn’t update my training log last week. But, it was a deload/maintenance week. Essentially, the training was the same just slightly lower volume and intensity to enhance recovery.
However, this morning was a full bore, get after it training session. I was salivating all weekend for this morning’s session. I was full of fuel from Mother’s Day activities and it was time to get it with some heavy pulling. These next 4 weeks are all about going heavier, adding strength, and picking up the intensity. I pulled out my gymboss timer and really pushed the pace.
Full Body Training
Week #5, Day #1
1 – Deadlift 5×5,3,3,2,2
2a – Zercher Squat 3×6
2b – DB Snatch 3x6ea.
3a – Incline DB Press 3×8
3b – Pullups 3xsubmax
3c – Dbl KB Swings 3×30
I was sucking wind after those high rep swing sets. I think it’s time to go get some heavy KBs!!! What a great way to start the week. No international chest day for me. I go hard on Monday mornings!
