Get to know Jamie
I am a strength coach, personal trainer, husband, and father in Richmond, VA. Second only to my family is my passion for all things strength training, including working with those who are serious about achieving their goals. Whether those goals include fat loos, increasing muscle or excelling in a particular sport, I’m here to help you reach your goals. I’m honest in my opinions and won’t shy away from giving you REAL advice. It may not be everything you want to hear but I promise to tell you what I think will help you. With that said, I don’t know everything and I’m constantly looking to to deepen my knowledge. So, don’t be shy, leave a comment and maybe we’ll learn something from each other!
As a high school and college football player, I was overweight, unhealthy, and stuck in a training rut. I realized I needed to make some major changes; I dropped over 70lbs, added lean muscle and made staying healthy a part of my everyday life style.
I received my M.Ed. in exercise physiology, which provided me with an academic perspective on effective training, reinforcing the key elements I knew from personal experience. As a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, IYCA Youth Training Specialist, and Certified Underground Strength Coach, I have worked with clients of every age and fitness level. I enjoy creating innovative and motivating training environments for my clients. I know that if it isn’t fun AND effective, you won’t stick with it.
I want to help you reach your peak performance.

Hey, I just saw your website on Rachel Aird Jones Facebook. I went to Prince George too. Class of 1999. I am a Personal Trainer in Anchorage Alaska. I have my NASM CPT and CES and the list goes on. I love your website and I am really excited to see what you offer. I would love to get my family someone to connect with there in Viriginia. Where are you right in Richmond? Prince George? What gym? Or how do you run your business? I work for The Alaska Club and also I am an Independent Contractor at Elemendorf Air Force Base. Keep up the great work. Take care.
